View NewsletterThe Office of Research, Planning and Evaluation coordinates the district and state testing programs, the state accountability program, conducts research and evaluation studies, and processes requests to do research in the district.

  DataQuest or Ed-Data.
• Request for Data
  If you are a current district employee who wishes to request data from the district or state testing programs or CBEDS not currently available, please access the "Request for Data" form through the myLBUSD Portal. Once logged into the portal, roll-over the 'applications' link and select 'Intranet'. You will find the form under the 'Research, Planning and Evaluation' heading. Complete and return the .PDF document to the Research Department.
• Request to Conduct a Research Study
  The Long Beach Unified School District has been a pioneer in the approval of large numbers of Applications to Conduct Research in the past because we believe research will ultimately improve our practices. But, due to significant budget cuts within the district with more on the horizon, only a very limited number of proposals will be approved this school year.
