FAQs regarding the suspension of the CAHSEE
California Legislative Information SB-172
Based on the current legislation that was signed into law on Oct. 7, 2015 by Governor Brown, SB172 now mandates that school districts issue diplomas for students who have met all Local Education Agency graduation requirements other than the passage of the CAHSEE starting with the class of 2006.

You will be contacted after review of the application with next steps. Please allow up to 4 weeks to process the application. By law, LBUSD cannot issue diplomas until January 2016.
