Future Administrators’ Program
The purpose of the Future Administrators’ Program is to recruit, train, support and retain high quality leaders. Those selected for the Future Administrators’ Program attend a series of workshops that focus on the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for the assistant principalship at any level. In addition, program participants are mentored by assistant principals at school sites different than their own. Participants may be eligible for available assistant principal openings or other leadership vacancies for up to three years upon successful completion of the program.
Current LBUSD employees and outside candidates who have demonstrated leadership experience and are currently a teacher, counselor, or in a non-administrative position, are encouraged to apply for the Future Administrators’ Program. Applications, resumes, letters of interest, verification of Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and a copy of a most recent evaluation are due in the Leadership Development Office NO LATER THAN Friday, September 14, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
